Pontchartrain Hall is a complex of two new, state-of-the-art residence halls including all the facilities and services to make on-campus living both convenient and comfortable.
IELP students live in 4-bedroom/2-bath suites on the second floor of the South Hall which is reserved for Honors Students and International Students. The cost is $1092 per 8-week session. Students can move in two days before the start of the session. Additional days must be approved and will be prorated.
The IELP will make your reservation for you. All bedrooms are private and fully furnished, but students must provide their own bed linens, towels, telephone, and TV. Living room areas in all suites are also fully furnished. Both buildings have an Honors Wing, as well as Disabled Accessible suites. Featured amenities of the Pontchartrain Halls, North & South include:
- 9ft ceilings.
- Built in closets.
- Laundry facilities (in both buildings)
- A game room featuring a wide variety of interactive and fun diversions.
- A Convenience Express Store on the premises.
- Study and activity lounges.
- Wireless Internet and cable television in lounges and lobbies.
- Security cameras and card access.
- 225 conveniently located parking spaces.
- Fully appointed residents' kitchen.
- A wide variety of entertaining, educational and recreational programs.
Included in the room rate for no additional charge are Internet and cable television connectivity, local telephone service, furniture, and all utilities.
IELP students must bring their own sheets, pillows and blankets.

A housing deposit in the amount of $300 is payable upon arrival. $225 is refundable upon move-out if the student has completed the contract and left the room in good condition.

| Meal Plans (required for all Pontchartrain Hall residents) |
In addition to your housing charges, a declining balance meal plan in the amount of $435 is charged separately to your Student Account. You can use your Student ID as a debit card for meals and purchases at any campus dining location, including:
- Subway, The Home Zone, Starbucks, and PrivateerMart which are located in the University Center.
- Convenience Express located in the new Pontchartrain housing.
- Java City in the library.
- C3 which is in the Math building.
- Freshens Smoothies located in the Recreation and Fitness Center building.
